{ iCKB Testnet DApp }

This is a iCKB Testnet DApp, a place where you can safely try out the iCKB DApp and give feedback for how you would like to see its improved. Here the Faucet for Nervos Testnet CKB.

Would you like to try out the DApp?

No, I'll feedback the dev

What is iCKB?

iCKB is a protocol that aims to solve the illiquidity problem of the NervosDAO by tokenizing NervosDAO deposits into a liquid iCKB token.

The iCKB protocol owns all the iCKB deposits and maintains a pool of them, allowing anyone to use anyone else's deposit to exit the NervosDAO once it's mature.

iCKB incentivize a standard deposit size of 100,000 iCKB to improve deposit fungibility and prevent certain types of attacks.

The iCKB/CKB exchange rate is designed to be deterministic, tracking the inflation rate of CKB as defined by the Nervos DAO compensation formula.

The deposit process is split into two phases - the first locks CKB and issues a receipt, the second converts the receipt into iCKB tokens.

The withdrawal process also has two phases - burning iCKB/receipts to request withdrawal, then completing the withdrawal from the Nervos DAO.

Additionally, a limit order script is used to overcome the limitations of the underlying NervosDAO and iCKB protocols, allowing for more flexible and user-friendly experiences within the iCKB ecosystem.

The limit order process is split into three phases - a user mint the order, then a bot match the order and at the end the user melt the order to collect his assets.

Who is behind iCKB?

A random developer, going by the pseudonym Phroi. The best way to interact with me is in a written format, English is not my native language. A bit on the over-thinker side, so much that I'm unwillingly finding vulnerabilities in other people work. Also I like to relax watching subbed anime at 2x, especially Isekai and similar. I'll be at Chiang Mai CKCON, feel free to come and say hi!!

The Nervos Foundation who sponsored the iCKB project in a way that enabled its development as a public good. iCKB would not have happened without their help, especially Jordan and Matt. In these years Jordan personally invested a lot of time and energy in iCKB, supporting me in every way he could. Thank you a lot!!

Many people in the Nervos ecosystem helped out iCKB directly or indirectly, I'm especially grateful to Homura. iCKB DApp would not be here without Lumos and his continuos support.

Jan and his team helped a lot in many different ways. They'll (likely) be also the ones conducting an informal audit on iCKB Scripts. I hope that they'll also be the ones deploying the scripts on mainnet.

Nervos Nation who will (likely) host the final mainnet DApp, making sure that the DApp is safe and also organize a Reddit AMA for iCKB. They are a cool bunch. Nervos Community is lucky to have them.
